Kerala Tourism Partnership Meet in Kolkata

The Kerala Tourism Partnership meet 2019 was held at The Park Hotel in Kolkata on the 19th of February 2019. Mr. Muraleedharan P, the Deputy Director of Kerala Tourism was the Chief Guest of the occasion. The agenda of the meet was an ambitious marketing campaign in 2019. Mr. Muraleedharan stressed on the new products that Kerala Tourism has to offer such as – ·
 
Extending Sustainability Online (A new online platform has been created where locally made and indigenous products are available and sold)

India’s First Biodiversity Museum (A biodiversity museum has been built outside the city of Thiruvanthapuram  with the Kerala’s first Science-on-Sphere [SOS] system)
·        
Voyage through Historic Ties (Muziris Heritage Project, a project for history lovers for information on Arabs, Romans and Egyptians’ visits to Kerala)
·        
Spice Route Project (A project highlighting the 2000 years old ancient sea links with 30 countries across the world) 
  He further added that Kerala has been the winner of the National Tourism Award for the year 2016-17 held at New Delhi last year.   There were delegates and tour operators from across Kerala in the event, showcasing and promoting their Hotels and Resorts.   A fascinating cultural program demonstrating the various art forms of Kerala was on display. Traditional dance, music and martial arts skills were performed by the supremely talented artists from Kerala.   The Program ended with interactions between the delegates and the media personnel.
